Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Rapport Recruitment Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all operations. We recognise our responsibility under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and although our business is below the current reporting threshold, we voluntarily uphold the principles of the Act.

We provide temporary and permanent recruitment services within the UK construction sector. We are aware that some areas of the construction supply chain can present higher risks relating to worker exploitation.

Our Zero-Tolerance Approach

We do not tolerate:

  • Forced labour

  • Human trafficking

  • Debt bondage or withholding of wages

  • Exploitation of vulnerable workers

Due Diligence Measures

To reduce risk, we:

  • Verify right-to-work documents for every worker

  • Conduct identity and eligibility checks

  • Only partner with clients who meet legal employment standards

  • Monitor worker welfare through direct communication

  • Do not charge workers any recruitment fees

Raising Concerns

Workers and partners can report concerns confidentially:
team@rapportrecruitment.com

We investigate all reports and take appropriate action, which may include:

  • Removing workers from unsafe sites

  • Terminating client relationships

  • Reporting to relevant authorities

Continuous Improvement

We review our processes annually to ensure they remain effective in protecting workers.
